I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Texts and Technology and Adjunct Professor of American History at UCF. My specialties are in early motion picture history, holocaust memory, and transmedia storytelling. My thesis was an spatial analysis of Brooklyn's motion picture exhibition practices during the silent era, titled, "City of Superb Democracy: The Emergence of Brooklyn's Cultural Identity During Cinema's Silent Era." I also am overseeing the development of a film conference to be set here in Orlando this coming November, titled "Flickering Landscapes: Visual Representations of Florida on Film."
