I am a first year graduate student at the History M.A. program at the University of Central Florida. For my Introduction to Public History course, I am part of a project that will be providing research for the Lone Sailor Memorial, which is intended to commemorate the Naval Training Center and Recruit Training Command in Central Florida. In addition to this project, I have a growing interest in the field of public history and intend to enroll in UCF's public history track at the end of the semester. Apart from my graduate work, I also work at the Orange County Regional History Center as a museum educator where I use technology both in researching and writing educational curriculums as well as presenting these curriculums to young children.
